TO BID CARSON CITY AIRPORT LEASES
The Carson City Airport Authority will receive sealed bids for the lease of airport property located on the east side of taxiway B (Bravo Lot), upon minimum terms and conditions as adopted by the Carson City Airport Authority on January 19, 2022. The minimum terms, conditions and specifications together with maps identifying the property available for lease are on file and available for inspection at the offices of the Carson City Airport Authority, Airport Manager, 2600 E. College Parkway, Terminal Building, Carson City, Nevada, or on the Authority’s webpage www.flycarsoncity.com

Carson City Airport (CXP) is situated on 531 acres 3 miles north of the State Capital building. CXP was initially established in 1928 on 76 acres of land. CXP is the airport of the state capital of Nevada and functions as a general aviation reliever airport for the Reno-Tahoe International Airport. The Carson City Airport is a 20-minute drive south of Reno conveniently located off Interstate 580. The east shore of Lake Tahoe is just a 10-minute drive from the state capital. The Carson City airport is ideally situated to visit both Reno and Lake Tahoe.
CXP is listed in the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems (NPIAS) and receives federal funding under the Airport Improvement Program (AIP). Since 1982, CXP has received over $40 million in federal funding; $30 million since 2003.
